Montaja Simmons (she/her/hers) is a Pittsburgh, PA native, born and raised. 

She obtained her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Youngstown State University and was most recently seen in the Youngstown Playhouse 2021 Regional production of The Color Purple in the role of Nettie. 

Since returning back to Pittsburgh, Montaja has broadened her performance background

with film/ TV, commercial, and voice over credits. Montaja has a passion for helping people, learning new skills, like improv comedy  at Arcade Comedy Theater.

Montaja also made appearance in James Whitner's "FREE LUNCH"-short story with Nike and Social Status, playing the role of Mom.
